Hello! My name is Lana Nguyen, and I have the joy of serving as this year’s Recruitment Director alongside our Vice President of Membership, Madeline Moore and our Reference Director, KK Milanowski. I am a Junior Allied Health Science major on the Pre-PA track from Arlington, Texas, and I am so thrilled to welcome you to this special season.

As recruitment approaches, I am so excited for the opportunity to share the place that has shaped so much of my college experience. When I was in your shoes, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I hoped to gain from my next four years. I was looking for genuine friendships, opportunities to grow as a leader, and a community where I could truly be myself. What I found in Kappa Alpha Theta was all of that and so much more. Theta has become a place where I feel supported, challenged, and celebrated every step of the way.

As you go through recruitment, my biggest piece of advice is to trust yourself and embrace the process with an open heart. The right chapter will make you feel comfortable being your most authentic self. I feel incredibly grateful that Theta has been that place for me, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to share the heart of our sisterhood with you!
